Archiproducts Bari is the house of the future

BTicino’s experts talk about smart homes in the showroom’s areas

Welcome to the house of the future, where a voice command is all it takes to adjust the lights, set the temperature, raise and lower the blinds and start your favorite song.  At Archiproducts Bari it is possible to enjoy the experience of a connected home first-hand thanks toBTicino devices, designed to offer all the comforts of a Smart Home without passing up on aesthetics.

On Tuesday, October 1st, the phygital showroom welcomed more than 30 Architecture Firms. Together with the BTicino experts they were able to analyze the issues related to the design of a smart home during the first of a series of meetings designing a path between Technology and Design: two worlds which come together to provide solutions to a new – smart – way of living.

The Architects reached the “two-story house” of Archiproducts in Corso Vittorio Emanuele to test the Living Now features, devices that allow managing the main functions of the electrical system via App or voice command.‎ In addition to the functional aspect, that which stands out most is the product’s ability to combine aesthetic and technological components, discreetly fitting into the surroundings.

Available in sixteen finishes, the Living Now plates offer the possibility of creating a chromatic combination with the environment, camouflaging or creating pleasant contrasts.

The event location was the open space of Archiproducts Bari, the 2.0 showroom in which there is no division between online and offline. The area was designed to offer Architects and Interior Designers the opportunity to fully experience the designing and purchasing aspects of the event, starting from the touchpoint and continuing towards the Archiproducts  Shop, a reference point for thousands of professionals who visit the e-commerce shop every day, choosing among products of over 700 brands.

From the feasibility analysis of the project to the choice of finishes, the Store Managers of the Archiproducts team supported the Architects from the design phase to that of purchasing, developing customized estimates and suggesting tailor-made and functional solutions created based on the specific needs of the professional, of customers and of the area.

The interior of the showroom held a selection of 48 brands in an exhibition area covering 600 square meters. A scenic and appealing space that followed the concept of a house with an outdoor area – furnished in the colors chosen by Paola Lenti and Gan. The icons  KnollPoltrona FrauBaxterDe PadovaGervasoniCasamania&Horm and Zanotta came together with the irreverence of Seletti, the nuances of  Cc-tapis rugs and the lightness of Glas Italia glass. The heart of the open space was dominated by the kitchen area curated by Boffi, while everything was illuminated by the timeless light of FlosArtemideVibiaOluceLuceplan and Nemo. Among the products on display there were the ceramic coverings by  Mutina and the wallpapers by Texturae that completed the set-up together with the chairs by Thonet and Driade, children’s furniture by Nidi, the wellness of EffegibiMambo Unlimited Ideas decor and the office area by Arper.

The “open” formula of the event allowed the architects to choose when to participate and how long to stay, managing their visit as they pleased. The day was accompanied by the green proposals of Frulez, the bistro that offered tasty and strictly organic seasonal finger food.

The meetings with the BTicino team in Bari were part of the itinerary on the connected home launched at Archiproducts Milan in 2017.
The next meeting will take place on October 22nd at Cantiere Galli, Rome.

Archiproducts Furnishes Binario F, the Facebook Hub in Rome for Digital Education

17 brands and 270 products for an innovative Contract project

– Innovation in Italy starts from Binario F, the Facebook centre for the training and development of people’s, companies’, associations’ and institutions’ digital skills. A place designed to enhance the collaboration and the exchange of ideas, in which the digital soul of the CBRE-managed concept comes together with the furniture selected by the Archiproducts team. The result is an Interior Design project featuring vibrant colours, reflecting the identity of a place in constant evolution, in which real and virtual communities are the key players.

Opened last June 25th, Binario F is 800 square metres open space spreading over two floors with training rooms, workstations, relaxation and networking areas and a space for outdoor activities. At the moment, it is the most important Facebook investment in Italy and responds to the will of the social network to improve and train the digital skills of about 97 thousand people by the end of 2019. An ambitious project that has its home in the heart of Rome, in the space of LVenture Group and LUISS EnLabs, the hub that hosts – and cultivates – a nursery of innovators, to invest in young startups and transform them into the entrepreneurial businesses of the future.

Archiproducts provides shape and color to the interiors of this ecosystem of digital talents and has made its experience and its team available to Facebook, taking over the management of a Contract project that counts a total of 270 products and 17 brands. The Artemide lights are complemented by accessories by ArperZanottaPedraliTrue DesignViccarbeHey-signDale ItaliaCompagnie and Studio T, designing a flexible workplace, tailored to digital nomads. The bathroom furniture welcomes the bright colors of Geelli and the Dyson technology, while the floors are brought alive by the multicolored patterns of the carpets by Memedesign and Besana Moquette.

Each product was chosen to bring out the story and the identity of the place, in a color-block project. The spaces are open according to the logic of coworking, to encourage inspiration, interaction and connection between people. Because, as Laura BononciniHead of Public PolicyFacebook Italia explains, “In continuity with Facebook’s core value “Be Open”, Binario F will be a space open to the community. Anyone can access training for free and will also be able to propose programs to be developed in the center. An inclusive and innovative place in which communities, businesses, institutions, academics and citizens can exchange ideas, collaborate, communicate and learn from each other.”

“Thanks to Binario F – continues Laura – and the collaboration with the partners supporting the project, we want to give a concrete demonstration of our commitment in contributing to bridging the skills gap that penalizes the growth of our country”. The school for digital skills, however, is only the first step on the path taken by the social network in Italy, which from Rome is already looking to Europe with new training centers in Spain and Poland. The goal is to train 1 million people and entrepreneurs throughout the European Union by 2020.

From Web to City: All Systems Are Go for the Inauguration of Archiproducts Bari

Introducing a new hub for Architects to discover, plan and purchase, choosing among the top international design brands

– A general buzz permeates headquarters in view of the imminent opening of the new Archiproducts Showroom in Bari: a 2.0 space uniting online and offline to create a bespoke planning, purchasing and decorating experience for Architects. Over 600sm showcase the best brands in international design offering inspiration and choice. And it doesn’t stop here: the new space also comes with a digital system allowing access to over 600 brands available on shop.archiproducts.com. The inauguration is scheduled for December 6.

Archiproducts Bari

Pastel colors, monochrome walls and alternating open and closed spaces creating different vantage points; spaces in dialogue with one another and light games highlighting contrasts and details: all this is embodied in a concept inspired by a two-story living space with outdoor area. A house in the heart of the bustling city, in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, designed to welcome Architects and Designers in a space which is not just a shop, but a meeting point for dialogue, connection, and networking among professionals.

IntInteracting with the product: the future is phygital

‘We wanted to create an interactive space in which products could speak to the visitors’, Co-founder and Art Director of Archiproducts, Enzo Maiorano explains. ‘At Archiproducts Shop Bari, the project specialist can interact with products using tablets, smartphones and qr codes, in a continuous experience between physical space and the digital world of Archiproducts’.

The set-up of Archiproducts Shop Bari communicates with the visitor through smartphones and devices available in the shop. The qr codes placed next to each product allow access to technical specifications, available configurations and information about the Brand and Designer.

Assistance is available throughout every step of the project, with professional consultations, personalized quotations, in-store and online purchasing guidance, and international shipping guaranteed through logistic partners such as DHL and TRAMO.

In the shopping district

Opening the showroom in one of Bari’s central arteries was not a casual choice. Corso Vittorio Emanuele has always been considered the dividing line between the traditional old town, and the modern ‘shopping district’ of the city. It is the ideal location where rushing innovation meets a ‘slow-made’ dimension, suspended in a past when things were made well, taking all the necessary time.
It’s no coincidence either that the first physical store is being inaugurated in Bari, the city where it all began: the Network is led by a team which started off in the South of Italy, with its roots specifically in Puglia, even though it is now operating all over the world.

The two locations – the Archiproducts Milano space and the store in Bari – are part of an expansion process with its site overseas, with other touchpoints already planned to grow strategic markets, such as the North American and Asian ones.
