BTicino’s experts talk about smart homes in the showroom’s areas
Welcome to the house of the future, where a voice command is all it takes to adjust the lights, set the temperature, raise and lower the blinds and start your favorite song. At Archiproducts Bari it is possible to enjoy the experience of a connected home first-hand thanks toBTicino devices, designed to offer all the comforts of a Smart Home without passing up on aesthetics.
On Tuesday, October 1st, the phygital showroom welcomed more than 30 Architecture Firms. Together with the BTicino experts they were able to analyze the issues related to the design of a smart home during the first of a series of meetings designing a path between Technology and Design: two worlds which come together to provide solutions to a new – smart – way of living.

The Architects reached the “two-story house” of Archiproducts in Corso Vittorio Emanuele to test the Living Now features, devices that allow managing the main functions of the electrical system via App or voice command. In addition to the functional aspect, that which stands out most is the product’s ability to combine aesthetic and technological components, discreetly fitting into the surroundings.
Available in sixteen finishes, the Living Now plates offer the possibility of creating a chromatic combination with the environment, camouflaging or creating pleasant contrasts.
The event location was the open space of Archiproducts Bari, the 2.0 showroom in which there is no division between online and offline. The area was designed to offer Architects and Interior Designers the opportunity to fully experience the designing and purchasing aspects of the event, starting from the touchpoint and continuing towards the Archiproducts Shop, a reference point for thousands of professionals who visit the e-commerce shop every day, choosing among products of over 700 brands.
From the feasibility analysis of the project to the choice of finishes, the Store Managers of the Archiproducts team supported the Architects from the design phase to that of purchasing, developing customized estimates and suggesting tailor-made and functional solutions created based on the specific needs of the professional, of customers and of the area.
The interior of the showroom held a selection of 48 brands in an exhibition area covering 600 square meters. A scenic and appealing space that followed the concept of a house with an outdoor area – furnished in the colors chosen by Paola Lenti and Gan. The icons Knoll, Poltrona Frau, Baxter, De Padova, Gervasoni, Casamania&Horm and Zanotta came together with the irreverence of Seletti, the nuances of Cc-tapis rugs and the lightness of Glas Italia glass. The heart of the open space was dominated by the kitchen area curated by Boffi, while everything was illuminated by the timeless light of Flos, Artemide, Vibia, Oluce, Luceplan and Nemo. Among the products on display there were the ceramic coverings by Mutina and the wallpapers by Texturae that completed the set-up together with the chairs by Thonet and Driade, children’s furniture by Nidi, the wellness of Effegibi, Mambo Unlimited Ideas decor and the office area by Arper.
The “open” formula of the event allowed the architects to choose when to participate and how long to stay, managing their visit as they pleased. The day was accompanied by the green proposals of Frulez, the bistro that offered tasty and strictly organic seasonal finger food.
The meetings with the BTicino team in Bari were part of the itinerary on the connected home launched at Archiproducts Milan in 2017.
The next meeting will take place on October 22nd at Cantiere Galli, Rome.
